The Pitso Mosimane Foundation supported two Vaal Octopus Academy teams at the 2022 Street Football World Cup, giving the young players the opportunity to experience the tournament like stars.

More than taking part, the tournament was about making them feel seen, supported and celebrated. It was a reminder that, with dedication, focus and self-belief, there are no limits to what they can achieve.

An abandoned football facility in Mamelodi East was transformed into a thriving space for young people with the launch of the Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools and the Pitso Mosimane Football Club.

More than restoring a football field, the initiative created a place to play, grow, belong and dream, giving young footballers the opportunity to develop their talent and build their confidence.

Talent can be found everywhere. Opportunity cannot.

In partnership with Hisense and Pitso Mosimane Youth Football, the Foundation provided young footballers in Khayelitsha with playing kits, football boots, training equipment, and access to quality coaching.

The impact went beyond a single event. It was an investment in their development and a powerful message to every young player: your talent matters, your development matters, and your dream is worth investing in.

For Coach Pitso Mosimane, giving back to Rockville means returning to the place where his journey began.

The Foundation supported Molalatladi Primary School and Isaacson Primary School with soccer kits, tracksuits and shirts, along with copies of the Youth Football Coaching Manual.
